The Warther Carving Museum of Sugarcreek, Ohio is a unique art exhibit located in Ohio's Amish community. Ivorybuyer.com provides you the opportunity to sell your legal estate and antique ivory.

The following pages will explain much about the artwork being created from legal estate ivory and how our museum-exhibit purchases uncarved estate tusks from within the U.S.

The museum was opened to the public in 1993. In 2003 the carver decided to close the exhibit in order to focus his time and energy on creating his artwork in a non-tourist setting.

Now in his 40's, Warther is creating his finest work and will be adding these special carvings to his extensive collection. The collection is being kept together and the museum is expected to re-open to the public after this exceptionally creative period in the carver's life.

The private funding for the museum is from environmentally conscious individuals. The funding enables the museum to do the following:
  • Purchase estate elephant tusks from within the U.S.
  • Protect the elephant
  • Maintain the museum artwork as a unified and expanding collection until such time the exhibit can locate an individual or corporate sponsor to finance the collections' placement in a major maritime, transportation, or art museum.
